Pastor's Desk...

W elcome to the McCormick First Baptist Church website. If this is your first time to visit, our prayer is that you will find the information that you need to know more about us. If you have been here before, thank you for returning once again. It is our desire for the website to be more than a billboard that one visits one time. We desire for it to be an ongoing source of information, encouragement and inspiration. While some things will remain the same, others will be updated on the 1st of each month.

We are excited about the direction of our church. We are encouraged because we believe that we can see God's handprints all around us. Our desire is to not race ahead of Him, nor to drag our feet, but to walk step by step with Him. His faithfulness in the past has caused us to look toward the future with expectations that are worthy of the great God we serve.

If you are new to our area, we want to encourage you to come and worship with us. When you do, it is our prayer that you will be able to say two things. One, the presence of the Lord was in that place, and two, the people were warm and friendly and made me feel a part of the family.
